No Wet Toes

So I have been in blog conundrum and thought..."animals", it's always easy to write about animals.
Or not. My brain is very tired.
So I will give you just a little snippet into the weirdness of Lacey.
Lacey came to our house a ferrel cat. For those of you who don't know what that means, she was born in the forest and was left to make it on her own. A wild kitten roaming the forests of time and space. A friend of ours, who was feeding these wild puddy tats, wrangled her and her brother to come live with us because she was moving and would not be there to feed them.
Anyway, that is a whole nutha story.
Lacey doesn't like water. As most cats don't.
But she takes it to the extreme.
Lacey stays mostly outside but we snag her in at night.
So tonight, it is raining. This is Oregon ya know.
Lacey needs a drink of water. Her bowl is on the back deck where the rain can fill it up. Once again, this is Oregon.
If this cat could walk like in those Tom and Jerry cartoons when Tom would sneak on the tips of his toes, Lacey would have done that.
So she ventures out, one foot from underneath the covered area to get her water.
Like she has to go nine miles carrying grain on her back or something.
Then she looks at me like I had something to do with the water that is hitting her.
I will admit, I am pretty powerful, but I didn't do the rain thing. At least not this time. Silly little puddy tat.
